Roger began his design career early in life. In college at FSU, he was active in graphic design and layout, and has his business degree (BS) in Advertising, Communications and Public Relatons. His first commercial design project was the public spaces of the then new Holiday Inn.
He later joined Maas Brothers in Tampa as one of the staff designers at the Gandy Boulevard Store for Homes. After service in the Tampa and Sarasota Studios, he joined Wellington Hall Ltd, a leading manufacturer of fine furniture, selling in company owned and franchished studios throughout the eastern United States. He soon rose to the postion of Regional Director with the responsibility of oversight of the studios in Tallahassee, Clearwater, Dania, Fort Lauderdale, Winter Park, Sarasota and St. Peterburg.
In 1996 he closed the retail location, concentrating solely on his own personal clientelle. Current offices are in Tampa and Garden Grove, Florida.
Roger was among the first to qualify as an accredited professional member of the American Institute of Designers, later the Amercian Society of Interior Designers.
